International Education and Resource Network (iEARN) adalah sebuah organisasi non-profit yang beranggotakan lebih dari 20.000 sekolah tersebar di 100 negara. iEARN mengajak guru dan siswa untuk bekerja sama secara online dengan menggunakan internet dan teknologi komunikasi baru yang lain. Sekitar 750.000 – 1.000.000 siswa setiap hari terlibat dalam project kolaboratif global ini. Sejak 1988, iEARN telah mempelopori hubungan sekolah secara online agar para siswa dapat terlibat dalam project pendidikan yang bermakna baik dengan peer di negeri sendiri maupun di seluruh dunia
Sekilas tentang kami
iEARN Indonesia didirikan dalam rangka pengembangan ASPnet (jaringan sekolah berasosiasi dengan UNESCO) berbasis ICT yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan siswa melalui online project. Project yang ada dalam iEARN dipilih karena selaras dengan empat hal yang menjadi perhatian ASPnet yaitu upaya mencapai perdamaian, pengertian antar budaya, penyelesaian masalah dunia, dan penyelesaian masalah lingkungan hidup.iEARN Indonesia didukung oleh Komisi Nasional Indonesia untuk UNESCO dan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah.

For people who are not attending the conference
On Thursday, July 15 from 10:15 to 17:00 EDT there will hands on demonstrations of technology in Minds on Media part of the International Conference. We are looking for iEARNers who cannot attend the conference to join us throughout the day for live demonstrations and interaction with participants at the conference through the iEARN Elluminate classrooms.
